Young and old alike embarked on a journey into the world of science at the Mediterranean Researchers’ Night 2025 in Chios!

The event was dedicated to science, education, and sustainable development, with activities that engaged students, researchers, and the local community.
The morning session focused on schools, with a highlight being the participation of the students from the 6th Primary School of Chios. Through presentations, quizzes, and interactive games of the European project MUSICA, the children discovered renewable energy sources and the innovative multi-use platform, learning science… while having fun!
Special thanks go to Headmistress Mrs. Sofia Varla, teachers Mrs. Angeliki Mathioudi and Mr. Dimitris Karitis, as well as to the students for their enthusiasm and energy!
In the afternoon, at the Future Lab of the Michaleio Building, the public had the opportunity to learn more about the MUSICA project, talk with researchers, and explore the potential of a smarter and more sustainable island future.
The Mediterranean Researchers’ Night 2025 in Chios showed how science can inspire, bring people together, and open new paths for the future of our islands.
